I have admired what the guys do over at Hak5 for a while now. So, i decided to approach Darren Kitchen, one of the hosts of the show (Shannon Morse co-hosts along side with Darren) in the Revision3 live chat.

Darren first set me on the task to drawn the entire cast of Hak5 along with some show mascots: WIFI Pineapple and Network Monkey (my illustrations were used for the intro of Season 6). My second task was to create both a background and postcard for promotional uses. Finally Darren approached me not knowing what he was going to do for the Season 7 graphics. So, we scraped together a concept and I did the vector graphics for him you can see them on the upcoming episodes of Hak5.

Have you ever had trouble finding inspiration for a design? What about seeing another creatives work and wondering “how was that done?” Well, I just might have a solution to some of your creative questions… designfloat.

I have been using designfloat for some time now. With its digg.com like structure it is a great resource for any graphic designer, web designer, photographer, etc. If your a creative person this is the site for you.

so, A while back I was watching attack of the show and saw this “action flick chick.” So, I thought this was a very cool take. What is more cool than an attractive woman reviewing man’s man type movies, right! Then I decided to see who this “action chick” really was or if I could find more of her stuff online. Low and behold I found it but I just had one gripe, the websites header! this is not a put down on Rocket Llama (who did the website banner previously) I just didn’t necessarily think is said “ACTION!!!” to me. So, this is my take on the banner!
